Reminiscing

This is where it all happened.

Grace
dengan kaki yang always kuyu, made falling down the school staircase a hobby.

Madeline & Flora
made a very big deal out of my " Lu ai ki DaMai Mai?"

Pris with her pockets full of 50cents fries & sweets:
Pengawas: pockets plis.
Pris: nah *expertly showing off her "empty" pockets, then blissfully walks away with pockets full of tit bits to be eaten in class * LoL

And Davina will have the honour to throw away all the empty plastics & packets of keropoks under the bench *AVA room* which made VCD-Hiding an easy task - Just throw it in together with the rubbish under there..the pengawas won't notice. That's how dirty it was.

And I, tired of asking them to sweep for several times...will eventually sweep it myself. Cis..kenot tahan the kekotoran ok.

& I..never pay attention in class.. always & forever doing physics/chemistry/bio/add maths' homework in the morning right before class starts but somehow manage to finish in time..

but then...we all did that.being lazy bums.hanya tahu makan n drool over cute guys. And look what's happened to us now..still survivng..in UNI gitu. hooray...!

Current state of being

I'm currently in a state where:

1. I need lots of

...you got it right...water
With flu, cough, sore throats so on and so forth making their comeback this season, I'm in no exception in merasakan tempiasnya. I hope I'll be doing fine doing backup singing for my Dad this Sunday. Who wants to hear me cough into the microphone while praise and Worship? Anyone? *eww that's gross..imagine all the mucus sticking out from the microphone* oh. sorry for the vivid imagination.

2. Having too much fun 'hanging out' at home and helping myself to an array of food at home..like, for an example..this right here

* yes of course..prepared & made by yours truly..*

3. That being said, I'll probably be going to look like this in no time.

*Having a don't-hate-me-cos-I'm-beautiful moment*

But it's all right..I'm just a week away from having to deal with Assignments..tests..quizzes..long nights..under-eye circles..yada yada pimple causing stuffs
Girl...why did you have to remind me of those..waaa...i want more holidays!!!
-zip it-

LissBliss' Quickies:
Quickie #1

She loves me She loves me not

Quickie#2
I used to have a bigger purse..so i'd put all my precious Love ones pictures in there..such as like the the one down there. But since the kampung house has been completed a few years back..I have been keeping all my * not all lah..some* pictures etc at my Kampung house. Then one day when i went back..i saw this.

I think it was one of my parents' idea?probably my Dad's...but it was cute.. I love you Grace

Quickie#3
What in the world...? That cat, i tell you is the most annoying cat ever. My sister is it's best friend and she would treat her adoringly and look..it's turning into a diva.

I'd rather kidnap Jonathan's BoB ..

& then go play with Insects...

....nah I'm just kidding...I'm not like Yon..LOL..*she used to catch mosquitos with wet sponge* SO funny!

Birthday Bliss

I just want to wish June Langgi Podhajny a very happy birthday which happens to be yesterday..hehe But you're still celebrating it right now because it is still the 19th over there right..

So anyways...i know you had fun opening up the presents so i don't have to wish and say "hope you have a great time on your birthday" lol..that will be so cliche.

It has been a blessing to have you in my life and i pray that God will bless you with many more birthdays to come..Love ya lots..

See you when i see you!

What's for lunch?

Since it will be only Olive & I at home today, i decided to only cook for two. You know, unlike the usual fiesta that i always prepare for 5 people. So i looked up for a simple, hassle free dish that i can make in less than an hour...then i found cheese baked rice recipe.

So i followed the instructions...

I cooked the chicken & rice..

Then i sprinkled cheese on top & left it to bake at the oven for 20 minutes

Tick tock tick tock..then the masa berlalu.......

Taddddaaaaa

It's like a crusty pie that you can thrust your spoon into and find your spoon to be enveloped by the soft & mushy rice

But of course i don't just want to eat rice & the cheese..that would be soooooo....unhealthy? So prepared chicken & mushroom cooked in sauce plus boiled vege.

Now that's better. I have protein from the chicken. Carbs from rice. Calcium from cheese & milk . Vitamins from long beans. And an extra dash of anti-oxidants from the Shitake mushrooms....

Thank you Lord for my food!

*did i make your mouth water?*

A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story

After watching Desperate Housewives (oooo! i like) last night, i clicked on HBO and found myself watching a movie called

A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story

It's pretty disturbing but sad at the same time. It's about a real 17 year old boy named Gwen Araujo, born Edward Araujo, Jr who was killed by his friends after they found out that she was a boy. She lived her entire life as a girl and preferred to be called Gwen instead of Eddie. She even dated a man named Tony for 9 months who didn't know that she is actually a trans gender. This movie revolves around the trials of those who murdered him and it shows her life and also her family..

Apparently she was tortured for 5 hours before she died...just because she wasn't a she. During her funeral they were alot of critics outside the church because being a trans gender is a sin(yes it is) and to dress him up in a gown during his funeral isn't right.

There are alot to think about while watching this movie. Probably because it is a real life documentary of a person who died, and this issue does happen in the real world. From my point of view, do not go into the raging river if you do not want to drown. But then again who am I to judge. You know, she was, really a pretty girl in real life.

All in all it's a good movie to watch if you like feeling all emotional. I didn't plan to watch it but i was hooked after 5 minutes of watching so it probably means it must be a good watch isn't it? =)

Till i see you again next time..

There was barely a hint of sunlight outside when i woke up this morning. Obviously cos it's only 4.15am. Why did i have to wake up that early? It's because i want to send June & Suzie to the airport. They're flying back to their home in the US. Everyone were present. *semangat kekeluargaan* It's hard to say goodbye. Though we do this every single year, we still have gallons of tears in store especially for this occasion. Yes..i have a family that consists of crybabies *pointing to self*
Inset: faces of those who woke up as early as 3am

Suzanne looks like she's not that eager to go. Probably because her sleep has been interrupted, not that she doesn't want to go back to her Daddy. I bet she'd be really happy to see Daddy.

Every time she has a picture of Daddy in her hands, she'll make sure you save it in your brain that the guy in the picture is her DADDY. She'll be like "Daddy..DADDY..DaddY!"..then you'll be like..yess...yesss...i know...i know...

Suzie
: Stay away from me. I"m cranky!

We were fortunate enough because we manage to steal some extra time to be with Suzanne at the airport. *And also A. June..hehe* Apparently the person in charge of the INTERNATIONAL check-in counter was not that good in English so there were some miscommunication. And so it took awhile to get things done. Oh did i mention International? Arent' you suppose to know your English before you work at the International counter? Duhh~!

She was the first one to arrive at the counter but soon other passengers started to arrive & lined up behind her because the Personnel was too..... fast & efficient.

----> No my dad is not going to the US. He's just helping out. ;)

So till we see you again next time...

Have fun reading this when you're safely back at home and Lots of Hugs n Kisses from us here.

How to have fun

Have you ever wonder how does it feel like to be in a washing machine?

......wonder no more...our very own 'mythbuster' tries it all

The Min Joo Shop

I went to the Carpenter's Street for breakfast Yesterday. Thanks to June, because if it weren't for her, you'll definitely not be seeing me anywhere in Carpenter's Street. So anyway, we went to this really old shop like reeeeeally old shop which supposedly have the best soup in town. Or so she says. She comes here everytime she gets back to Kuching. So i guess it's really that good.

So off we went to that shop on foot after getting the car parked so far away *we were paranoid of not getting any parking space after that, ever. You know how it is with Carpenter Street*

.....n after s brisk walk...tadaa.. here it is!

oh Dont be fooled by its appearance..they serve really good soup n noodles you know. I must admit it myself after devouring into my bowl of
noodle n fulfilling soup.

Grace, I know you'll love this. This bowl contains your most favorite meat of all time.

But the not so good part is, you practically have to wait for your turn to sit inside the shop.

The cooks

So many customers, so little...shop. And once you have a place, you have to wait for them to serve you n place your orders.

Bella has been waiting for too long now.
