Christmas 2008

This years Christmas was full of jolly n fun-ness because i had an open house after 2 years of not having an open house n inviting friends n love ones. At times i feel so sad because i cant really experience other environments due to the fact that i attend a local Uni right at my backyard. But at times like this - at Christmas.Im thankful because i get to spend Christmas with everyone that i know - with friends n ultimately my family. Christmas made me realize that im so blessed with a huge number of family n friends whom i love n who love me & Im very thankful for what God has given me so far *tho sometimes i can be so unthankful n ask for more things from Him* hehe. The bottomline is that..u can have all the money , fame & materials in the world but if u aint got love n human touch, u aint got nothing. It is true human beings are very social mammals n we cannot live alone.

The only Girlfriends that i had for Christmas this year were GRACE & GRACE. I miss all of you guys that couldnt be around - Dav, Pris, Angel (Gups, Flo, Mad, Elly & Bel why u didnt come ah! kick you) LoL. Yang banyak pula the boys.

Wish all of us can get together and have a blast. We always have the rongak syndrome..if si A is around si B pula isnt. Sigh..nvm. just invite me to your weddings. Ok

Sunat-ed

I know people used to think sunat or circumcision in English is only practised by some ethnic..like in Malaysia, for Malays it's a must for boys of years of age to bersunat..and also For the Ibans - due to hygienic purposes. But nowadays..more and more people are going 'under the knife' *yerr rasa plastic surgery* because the removal of the foreskin is a good thing..both for man..n also for his future wife*yes its true i watch a documentary on it*..why? pendek kata it will be more hygienic la. n his future wife will be less prone to cervical cancer..

So why am I talkin about this?

to make sure that your future husband has gone under the knife..we’ll all get stitched up once we have babies what..so it's fair n square..

well..it's because my brother did it last tuesday.*ouch* n some complicaton happened n so the specialist need to re-do the stiches*make me lemah u know* in Kuching Specialist so now he is doing fine..just dealing with the normal pain n the cannot-walk-fast2 period. Kesian..somemore he is the type yang cannot sit still. N you know it needs 3 weeks the most for it to be fully healed. So no drum concert for him lor..he's suppose to perform at a concert on the 13th..but due to this he cant.

Oh circumsicion is recorded in the bible too. So i think it's a good thing..so anyways..here are some pictures *shh dont tell him i post his pics..he will owes make sure he looks damn good in pics but apakan daya when u bersunat this is how you look like la ok*

Quantum Of Solace

I watch it last night even though im not really a big fan of James Bond but i watch it because my other half loves it & who wants to watch Madagascar 2 la?*its not childish ok..its funny..funny movies makes you laugh and laughter is essential for our well being..* hehehe so anyways...i dont quite understand the whole movie, really ..maybe because i didn't pay that much attention. But i know Mr. Bond slept with two dfferent women* which is a MUST* in that movie and they have this super duper technology in their headquaters.with moveable screens which allows you to "move" documents with you fingers on screen.no..not like PDA...but...ehhh you go watch it la! it's like every time there's a new Bond movie..you'll see Mr.Bond having relationships with a/several new women..n then you'll see new technology that is not yet available in the real world.

Oh Oh..and ALSO.. Mr.Bond seems to have the body of steel..everytime he fights with his enemies..no matter how torturous it may seem and he may be bleeding like nobody's business..he'll still win the fight. a.k.a his enemies will surely definitely die. not defeated.but.die. Plus..he'll always get hold of the gun or weapon at the veryyyyyy last minute before his attacker finds himself one then BANG! his attacker is dead...at the very last minute when you thought James over there would not make it on time..too cliche leh..im sorry but im not so fond of you Bond...i like watching ridiculous monkeys and penguins who can talk and act silly *which is imposible n its crita katun* but i question James Bond's illogical immortally.funny right. well...maybe Action movies are not my kinda thang..i prefer Comedy or Drama..

However..having said that, if you love James Bond & action movies you'll love this 22nd film in the James Bond franchise. It's action packed..like crazy packed with action..with a dash of humor along the way..if you love it...go watch it n you'll love it more..if you dont *like me* dont bother wasting your time n money.wokey

Of Oil Price

The price of petrol has gone down to RM2.45 per litre today. Yay!

That's worth 4.08 litres worth of petrol if you pay RM10! *yes i know because i Check out the digital indicator when i pump gas...ALL.THE.TIME* Like as if my magical stare would magically turn the dial down to RM1.00/litre..OMG that is worth 10litres of petrol worth RM10. okay..snap out of it Meryll. It just won't happen to u.

Cutting trees

Why do they keep on Cutting trees in Kuching? Aren't Sarawak suppose to be jungle-like cos its..er Borneo? & when someone says Borneo..the outsiders would begin to imagine something like the Amazon. Trees are good stuffs man. Don't cut them! it makes Kuching hotter n Bald-er by cutting them.

I remembered when the road to the airport was so serene & inviting because it's like as if those huge trees are protecting you from the scorching hot sun available in tropical Malaysia. & now they're all gone. Natijahnya if you drive to the airport at 12pm without wearing sunglasses..you'll be squinting like crazy your liver lines starts to show.

In town they cut of that big old huge tree in front of Taman Kereta so now when you look at area you'll find yourself thinking "there's something missing. but i don't know what. & how come too bright ar?"

& today they have cut another old tree at the roundabout in front of Sri Shan restaurant.

"...Bidayuh from Serian.." right...saying it like as if I'm the real deal. Well I am but ask me anything more than "where's your kampung?", I wouldn't know. It's sad really..even for me, the City girl whose life only revolves around IT, Astro & so on & so forth. I would love to go back to the days where my late grandfather used to have Kambing *serious!* at his backyard.. & his house's flooring were made of bamboo...so when you walk on it, you have to make sure your feet will not be stuck at certain bamboo with holes in it. yeah..more like gaps between the bamboos..you can even see anything on the ground below. I was blessed to have actually experienced these. But the new generation have no such memories..because most of the Bidayuh's baruk *house* are turning into real houses..boring. *that includes my parents' kampung house*

*part of the made-from-wood with wooden/bamboo floors house..now has been extended into sitting rooms and kitchen..made from cement...those hanging things are called juah*joo-wah**

Roads

If i drive home as late as 5pm, the Kuching-Samarahan road is already packed with vehicles.

And I'm not even talking about Kuching traffic jams. This is a town road. Not even a city road, already it is jam packed with cars. I think in 5 to 10 years from now the jam is going to be like the ones in Metropolitan KL. waaa...i don't think i want to own a car by then, because my fuel tank will be empty just by waiting in the traffic jams. So have you moments of enjoyment while driving now, while you still can,people..gone are the days where you drive and enjoy scenes like this..

Semester July 2008/November 2008

I started my new semester yesterday. I can't believe I'm already in my 5th semester of Bachelor of Accountancy *3 more sems to go!*. That's 4 years of Uni! it's equivalent to our fourth form in secondary school. But back then life seems to move so slowly & we can't wait to get out of school...but now the time flies so fast u can't even catch up.

I remember one penceramah said " once you've done your bachelor, i can assure you, time flies by so fast u don't even realize it,one day u wake up n found that you're married with 3 kids" Errrk!

I was excited to go to class but at the same time i want to have more holidays. *???* Can i bring my bed to class?hehe. Ohh the lectures have not started yet at the moment. Each time we go to class we'll be heading back home 10 minutes later because the lecturer just want to fill us up with all the drills and 'thrills' of the subject. Fun huh? So each time the lecturer says "ok you can go now, what are you waiting for?" We'll all be heading to the cafeteria to start hunting for lunch even though my watch shows me that it's only 9am. What lunch?

The Parking space is full because most students have their own car these days. It Doesn't matter that the price of petrol has increased, PTPTG *bukan nama sebenar* pays for all that.

Let's go for a stroll and see the environment of where I'm at, 5 days a week.
