Earth hour

This coming Saturday, 8.30pm to 9.30pm, I'll be in total darkness. I told my mum just now, "Mi, on Saturday i will switch off the lights for one hour" she was like "For what?" then I "ehh One hour only..I'm supporting the Earth Hour" then she walks to the kitchen. She for sure one tidak tahu apa itu Earth Hour. Im goin to switch the lights off anyways.

It all started in Sydney in 2007 and now it has become a global thing. By switching your lights off, you're voting for EARTH. If you don't, then you're voting for GLOBAL WARMING. I will be switching them off, will you?

Ive been missing in action because I am such a busy person.Like literally, Im so not kidding. Believe it or not every week since February I have had Mandarin Test because we wont be having to have to sit for it in the Finals, hence, the everyweek test so that we can accumulate our marks and that would be our final result! I think i prefer the final exam paper? i do not know why they change it that way. so kegeraman. Not only i have that Mandarin test every single week till April i have test OR quizzes AND assignments to do since the Chinese New Year holidays. May i repeat, EVERY WEEK. I.DO.NOT.HAVE.WEEKENDS. ok? For example la, every tuesday I'll have Mandarin Test then Wednesday Tax, Thursday Ethics. Then it goes on n on*with different other subjects la*sigh I have 8 subjects this sem.So Even if i don't any test the next week *so i dont have to study la tek* but no i still have to menyiapkan my assignments. YANG BERLAMBAK LAMBAK. Up to now, i have like 5 assignments yet to be done. FIVE! This Sunday pula BACCs will be having a Family Day n I am the MC *again* so there. i do not have a Sunday this week. Suppose to be singing in Church for the praise n worship itupun i have to call Raymond up and tell him i can't. Waaa... Summore i have to wake up early because i have to be at Pasir Panjang by 7am? i wanna kneel and cry and pull my hair.

SO lame ho my life. I dont have days, weeks, months. after this semester is over I'll be doing my practical for 6 months. 6 months!so walaupun i dont go to class i think i'll be busy with work? haiyo.

Injected

I got my hepatitis Vaccine injectine this morning. Ouch.

why? It's because my body does not have any antibody for the hepatitis or whatsoever i dont know what la. So kan i like to eat all sorts of food? it's really a must to get the shot to protect my liver..

It was painful ok..more than that time when the doctor got my blood sample to check if i have the antibody or not. Heh.

I hate needles but no unfortunately due to my age*yer rasa tua li* i need another two more shots n im good to go for the next 5 years

My Fourth Valentine with JD

The night started off pretty well, with me dressing up and perfecting my makeup for the night. Giggling at the thought of what would I be expecting for the night. *My First night of actually celebrating Valentine's Day on the 14th of February itself, hence the excitement*

However things started to fall apart when we reach our planned destination. We were 'sent away' from the restaurant because it was fully booked by lovebirds so the tables are only for those who booked earlier. I was like, Fine who needs your love-shaped balloons and red-carpeted stairways anyways? So cheesy. Too over the top for me. and Too pink. TOO rEd n Too PINK...too VALENTINE'S DAY *dengki*

And so we went to our next destination hoping there's still vacancy for us but no...the roadside was jam packed with cars trying to go in. Now that's a bad sign,...but we did manage to park our car anyhow weee. BUT.The happiness stopped there...when we reach the restaurant, we were the fourth IN LINE in queue waiting to be sitted. Can u imagine that? My thought of just buying two street burgers on the go wasnt that bad then. We gave up on THAT restaurant n after a few mins, we went to another only to be asked to wait for another 30 mins to 1 hour or so. WHAT.ARE YOU KIDDING ME It was 8.30 u know. my stomach was startint to have it's own tantrums.

HOWEVER, dont sympathize on me just yet, hehehe..Im about to go to the best part...So anyhu, after being 'rejected' for 3 times we decided to go high-end,thinking that less people will go there. ANd so we went to Merdeka Palace's Restorante Beccari. O whatever the name is. But no it was fully booked. But then like a light at the end of the tunnel, one of the staff asked us to try Victoria Arms because they were having Valentine's Day Special of their own. So off we went n to our surprise, it's ambience and set of meals surpases all of those who have rejected us n we were so pleased, we welcome our luck with open arms. I was so excited! It was the best night ever n a memorable one. We were so glad we were rejected 4 times hahaha. *FOUR TIMES!!!*

Our meal started off with Starter platter gourmet style and ends with devilishly yummy dessert.At the end of the night they gave a complimentary red rose for him to be given to me hehehe. So all in all i had 3 roses.

so the moral of the story is: next year if u ever plan to eat out on valentine's day with your special someone, make.a.reservation.

Phone stuffs

If you don't know already, my Nokia 6085 drowned and died. Sedih. It was only 6 months old.

I had to use JD's Mum's Phone for 2 weeks before buying a new phone secara terpaksa.I'm not that type who would care much about having the latest phone with 3G or what not so buying a new phone was not in my 2009 plan. In fact, it made a hole in my savings account when my 2009 resolution was to save? Argghh but nevertheless, i still like my new phone cos'..duh...who doesnt like new things? right?
